Dami transferred to Chico State from the University of Washington in conjunction with her family’s return to Chico. She is extremely excited to be reunited with the many friends that she and her family left 15 years earlier. Having raised four great (now grown) “boys”, and completing her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology, Dami brings a special perspective that helps her understand and relate to the many students she advises. Currently working towards her Masters in Social Science with an emphasis in Career Planning, Dami is grateful for the opportunity to assist and interact with the Chico State community. Her current responsibilities include general advising, advising undeclared students, producing the Advisor’s Bulletin Board, department liaison to Liberal Studies, and the hiring and training of new intern advisors. Her favorite hobbies include sailing, biking, running, and traveling. Dami’s Saturday morning ritual, which consists of sharing a run in Bidwell Park with her husband and friends, followed by coffee at Peet’s and a stroll through the market, is her favorite Chico experience. Dami’s #1 love is spending time with her family and friends.
