Meredith is a transfer student from San Francisco State, and moved to Chico in August of 2005 to continue her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Meredith enjoys the vast change and benefits of living in a smaller town (less traffic, fewer parking tickets) and all the nature Chico has to provide. Some of her favorite things about Chico State are how willing the faculty/staff are to help out their students and how there are so many opportunities to get involved within the school. She is a volunteer staff member of CAVE, working as a group leader with the Sonoma program, and has been an advising intern since May of 2006. A few activities she enjoys outside of school include painting, road trips, and just hanging out with her friends.
