Professional Staff

Troy currently holds a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Technology in Student Services in Higher Education from CSU, Chico.  Prior to this, he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from CSU, Chico in 1992.  He became a valued staff member of the Office of Advising and Orientation in August of 2001.  Since, he has taken on many responsibilities such as undeclared advising, developing major academic plans, creating and maintaining the On-Line Learning Experience (OLLE), and preparing student statistical data for departments and colleges on campus.  He is the Advising Office representative on the Educational Policies and Programs Committee (EPPC) and also the Enrollment Management Operations Group.  He attended the Academic Advising Summer Institute in 2002. He is an active member of National Academic Advising Association, NACADA, and was a presenter at the NACADA Regional Conference in spring 2002 and 2003.  He is the liaison for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts and the College of Natural Sciences.  At CSU, Chico he was a co-instructor of the University 001C-Introduction to University Life course.  He has worked with the Campus Course Fee Committee, the Associated Students Government, and in the Accounting and Budget Financial Services department.  He finds pleasure outside work with backpacking, golf, baseball, snow skiing, basketball, and most importantly spending time with his family.
