Preparing for Your
Parent Program

Your son or daughter has a list of things to do to prepare for orientation. Here are suggestions for you to benefit most from your participation in the parent orientation program:

• Bring a pen/pencil and a notepad so you can take notes and jot down questions.
• Wear comfortable walking shoes.
• Dress appropriately for very warm Chico summer weather. However, we also recommend you bring a sweater or sweatshirt, as some of the air-conditioned buildings may get chilly! Check the weather.
• Be ready to learn a wealth of information!
• Make sure to park in the designated lots and bring exact change or a credit card in order to utilize the parking permit dispenser unit. Click here for parking information and directions.

• Students and/or guests with disabilities who anticipate needing special accommodations should email: Enr-SumoRestech at least 10 days in advance of their orientation date.
