Transfer Program

Transfer and re-entering college students have different concerns and needs than first-time freshmen. As you enter CSU, Chico, you will become a member of an exciting campus community with new challenges and numerous opportunities. We anticipate that your academic experience at CSU, Chico will be different than what you have experienced before. With this in mind, we have created four orientation sessions specifically for transfer and re-entry students!

Choose an orientation date when your major will be represented, so that faculty from your intended major will be available for consultation. Refer to the session dates link for specific college and department advising dates.

Also, you are invited to combine a Chico Bound Aventure trip with your Summer Orientation session. Meet other new students on a trip exploring Northern California! No prior experience is necessary and food and gear are provided! See the Chico Bound website for all the details.
