Undergraduate International - Academic Programs (Majors)

Major with Special Processing:
Business Administration (BADM) and Business Information Systems (BIS) majors all enter the university in either pre-BUS or pre-BIS. Students will receive advising from the College of Business regarding how to enter the business option of their choice. Enrollment in the College of Business is not restricted. The above process is to insure students are prepared to enter upper division major courses in business.
Majors with enrollment restrictions:
Nursing – international students cannot apply
Music Industry: Recording Arts option – must receive application by January 1 for fall admission or September 1 for spring admission. A limited number of students will be admitted into this option. The Music department will advise students on the selection process. Students transferring to Chico from with in the U.S. are advised to contact the Music department as early as possible in their U.S. enrollment to discuss admission into the Recording Arts option.
