Graduate International - Academic Qualifications

To be admitted to post-baccalaureate study, a student must hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association or must have completed an equivalent of a 4-year baccalaureate degree at CSU, Chico.

Applicants who wish to pursue a master's degree must have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75 in the last 60 semester units of course work and at least 3.0 in the last 30 units. When open for applications, applicants to a second bachelor's degree program must have a minimum grade point average of 2.4. Grading is on a four-point scale from 0 (or F), denoting failure, to 4.0 (or A), denoting excellence.

Grading scales can differ greatly from country to country. Part of an applicant's admission evaluation will include establishing an equivalent of your institution's grading rules and structures to CSU,Chico's four-point scale.
